Community Guidelines
Last updated October 12, 2026 · Effective October 12, 2026
Odyssia is a place to plan trips and share them. These rules keep it friendly and useful for everyone. They apply to everything you post: trips, stops, notes, day names, comments, usernames, display names and bios. Breaking them can get your content removed or your account suspended or deleted, as our Terms of Use describe.
The rules
- Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, threats or insults, and no piling on someone. Disagree with ideas, not people.
- No hate. Nothing that attacks or demeans people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or serious illness.
- No sexual content. No nudity, sexual content or sexual comments, and nothing at all that sexualizes minors.
- No violence. No threats or encouragement of violence or self-harm, and no graphic violence.
- No spam or scams. No ads, repeated posts, misleading links, fake engagement, or attempts to get money or information from people.
- Be yourself. Don't impersonate other people, brands or organizations, or mislead people about who you are.
- Respect privacy. Don't share someone else's private information, such as their home address, phone number, email address, or where they are right now, without their permission.
- Nothing illegal. Don't post or promote illegal activity, such as selling illegal goods or helping people break the law.
- Be honest. Don't post information you know is false or dangerous, such as fake safety or travel-rule information.
- Only post what's yours to share. Respect other people's copyright and other rights.
How to report
If something breaks these rules, report it in the app:
- A comment: tap ⋯ next to it, then Report comment.
- A trip: open it, tap ⋯, then Report trip.
- A person: open their profile, tap ⋯, then Report @username.
Choose a reason and add details if they help. The person you report isn't told who reported them. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
How to block
Open the person's profile, tap ⋯, then Block @username. Once you block someone, neither of you can see the other's profile, trips or comments, and they can't follow you, comment on your trips or invite you. They aren't told. You can unblock people in Settings → Blocked accounts.
What happens after a report
- We review the report against these guidelines and our Terms. We aim to act within 24 hours.
- If something breaks the rules, we may remove it, warn the person, limit what they can do, or suspend or delete their account. Serious or repeated breaches can lead to a permanent ban.
- If something may be illegal or someone may be at risk, we may contact the authorities.
We can't always tell you what we did about a report, to respect the other person's privacy.
